National Latina Business Women Association -- Los Angeles

of the growing ranks of Latina Entrepreneurs, Executives and Professionals
from the Greater Los Angeles area.

Our Mission is to encourage Latinas to develop their business and professional skills and to meet their career goals through education, business referrals and networking.


Member of the Week
Ken Ashford Pic.jpgKenneth L. Ashford is a Business Outreach Representative for the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California. He joined MWD in December of 1994 and is responsible for events, and training for the Business Outreach Program.

Ken received his bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge and a Masters degree in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Subsequent to joining MWD, he worked as a Field and Legislative Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor, Edmund D. Edelman.

Ken is the immediate past president and board member of the San Fernando Valley Leadership Organization. He is past board member of the American Diabetes Association, San Fernando Valley Chapter, and Heaven Hills, a shelter for battered women and children, and he is actively involved in many civic, community and political organizations.
